Midjourney’s New ‘Describe’ and ‘Moodboard Blending’ Features

Moodboards were introduced a few weeks ago and totally transformed my workflow. I created moodboards for all of the main styles I used and no longer had to use individual style references.

I created a moodboard for my Substack “Therapy Nuggets” and can now produce title images for that consistently in a matter of seconds.

The latest updates have moved this forward, so you can use several moodboards and style references together.

In the three title images at the top of the story, I began with the prompt:

As you can see in the screenshot below, I added three moodboards. Colour strong, funky and Therapy Nuggets. Each is a cartoon-based moodboard that brings different qualities to the finished article.
